The roots of my career lie in art history and classical archeology, which I studied at the university of Innsbruck. I wrote my thesis about the connection of ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock prints) and horimono (traditional large scale Japanese tattoos). Influenced by all the impressions I got particularly in Japan I decided to go deeper into the matter by learning the tattoo handcraft myself. After a basic apprenticeship I spent some time on the road tattooing in Germany, Italy, South East Asia, etc. Since 2009 I am working in Vienna where I tattoo mainly japanese/asian designs.
